Darebin City Council undertook a process to design and install information and wayfinding structures within Preston Central. They engaged Village Well to undertake the design work, incorporating a consultative process.
The core component of the work was the development of a branding identity/logo for Preston Central.

Preston Centre is in need of a clear market positioning that captures the following:
- It’s Cultural Diversity and the differences in its People
- Preston Central as a meeting and cultural place
- A destination for many activities
- Captures a sense of place and inclusiveness – Preston Centre is a place for all.
Marketing Collateral Use
Village Well recommended that the preferred positioning statement is used in all promotional collateral including:
- Banners
- Signage
- Media – Local and National
- Brochures.
