Darebin City Council undertook a process to design and install information and wayfinding structures within Preston Central. They engaged Village Well to undertake the design work, incorporating a consultative process.

The core component of the work was the development of a branding identity/logo for Preston Central.

Future Positioning:

Rationale
Preston Centre is in need of a clear market positioning that captures the following:

  • It’s Cultural Diversity and the differences in its People
  • Preston Central as a meeting and cultural place
  • A destination for many activities
  • Captures a sense of place and inclusiveness – Preston Centre is a place for all.

Marketing Collateral Use
Village Well recommended that the preferred positioning statement is used in all promotional collateral including:

  • Banners
  • Signage
  • Media – Local and National
  • Brochures.
